TC45D loss of all hydraulics, losing fluid,jerked before died

Have a NEW HOLLAND TC45D that was low on fluid. I added new fluid, worked it for awhile, then bucket jerking before quitting completely. Now have loss of all hydraulics (no lift,nada). Have had it sitting, and its losing fluid from the 3 way connection boot under the tractor. Clearly a newbie to all this hydraulics, where do I start?

I am no expert on hydraulics either and one of the other posters will be along to explain that but in the meantime do not run or move your tractor without hydraulic fluid - you can do a lot of damage, like the transmission.

How bad is this leak?
Is the fluid foamy or milky looking?
Is the machine stored outside? How cold is it?
Did you recheck the fluid again after it stopped?

The rubber boot is the key. That's the suction line for both the main hydraulic pump and HST transmission. You are sucking air. Replace it or tighten clamps so there are no leaks and your problems will cease. Don't continue to run this way because you will harm both your pump and/or HST. You can operate long enough to move the tractor somewhere to work on it or onto a trailer, but don't push it further.
