TC45D Tie Rod end

The left outer tie rod end is supposed to have a grease nipple, its missing. The hole is packed full of mud. Whats the best way to go about dealing with this? Should i just replace the end, 75 bucks, or is there a way i can clean that out, or force the dirty grease out through the boot without risking leaving abrasive in there. Or doesn't that matter? Thanks in advance.

I would get a small pick and pick the crud out, then blow with air and put a new grease zerk in. I have sheared a couple off and needed an easy out to get the threaded part out. Good luck.

shoot, now i'm wondering if thats the problem. would make it easier regarding the crud. thanks for the reply, good idea.

how can I find out what size zerk that is? I'm thinking the only thing i can do is take the one from the other side out and try to match it. NH doesn't list it on the parts diagram.

Does anyone know the size of the zerk on the tie rod ends for the TC45D?
I know the hex itself on the zerk is a 7mm ... possibly a 9/32 if standard

Does new holland use metric or standard zerks?

I’d still like to know the exact size of the tie rod end zerk if anyone knows for sure or has a part number. This zerk isn’t listed on the parts diagrams for new holland

Edit 2: I’m thinking the tie rod end zerk is m6x1 ?

Zerks on the tractor are metric, if you have a loader those zerks will be standard. M6-1 sounds correct for your tie rod ends.

I just picked some up and installed them the other day
