Good morning all,
First wanted to say thanks to all those who provide such good content here, I have been lurking on this site for some time now and have sofar always been able to diagnose my issues or learn what I was seeking out based on content here. I am assuming that either jinman or J_J or one the many others here can help me in this situation.
My tractor is a TC45DA with approx 1200hrs. I have the 17LA loader with two rear remotes.
So first the situation that lead to the issue. . I was forward leveling a small pile of dirt with the bucket at full dump at approx 90 to the ground (yes I can hear you cringing now, in my defense it was just a loose 8" pile or so I thought, looks like there was a large rock imbeded in the ground that I hit). Anyway I was moving forward and blew a curl hose on the left cyl. I replaced the hose, cycled the system alot and still am having the following issues:
Issue #1: There is no power in power dumping. I can not back drag, nor lift the front end off the ground (unless the bucket is in full dump, 90deg to ground).
Issue #2: Regen dump is now a curl function.
The valve now functions as follows:
LEFT: curl
CENTER: centered
INITIAL RIGHT: dumps, but only due to gravity
FULL RIGHT: curl
I have not checked the precise pressure on each circuit, but believe that the symptoms both point to a considerably reduced pressure on the dump circuit. Since curl works well, I think an internal leak in the cylinder can be eliminated. Also since I have not changed anything on the dump circuit hoses I think I can assume the issue is with the mid mount valve.
If this is true, is this valve serviceable or do I search out a new valve?
Will knowing if the pressure on the power dump valve position is zero or 500 give an indication to what the root cause/solution(ie is it valuable to measure pressure here as I dont have this set up yet?)
Thoughts on where to go from here?
Thanks much in advance,
