Hello All

To make a real long story short I ordered a front mount 72CSH a REALLY LONG TIME AGO.
And all parts are in with the exception of 7 parts. The dealer I purchase the thrower from keep telling me the parts are back ordered. I need to find these parts ASAP the road that I am trying to keep open is on the verge of being closed due to snow. Please help me locate these parts I will pay to have them shipped from anywhere?..

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

To say the least my frustration level is through the roof!!!!!!!!!!
I have called NH Head office and all they can do is refer me back to my dealer- the dealer keeps telling me the part is back order and only NH can source the part.

Part numbers

4 X 86558960 Bushing
1 X 86400088 Bell Crank
1 X 86400093 Lift Link
1 X 86400095 Lever

Find another source and cancel the order.

Have you tried another dealer like Messicks. Give them a call and see what they say. If they are available have them shipped. If they say they are on factory backorder your dealer is being honest and you are SOL. I am not shure if NH dealers can do it but my truck dealer can tell me any if dealer in the country has the part I am looking for.

Have you though about asking your dealer for a rear mount loaner snowblower, 72" wide. You maybe able to make due with it until the parts arrive. Does he have a good used rear blower you could purchase, and then resell back to him when done? Will he allow you to pay rental on a new one until the parts arrive? Just thoughts, and possible solutions......good luck!:)

The first three sound like they could be manufactured pretty easily. Especially item 1. The description of the part may have enough info to find this part. Look it up in McMaster-Carr or MSC-direct. You can probably fudge it a bit, especially for the short term.

I hope when the time comes that you need replacement parts they aren't impossible to find.

sorry for the lack of response.

Iv'e been a little pre-occupied

Yes I do finally have my Blower. :)

But I must admit what a bull S#*% pain in the A** its been.

The tractor has loss a little luster do to the many A** H&% Iv'e had to deal with.

So with all that and a little bad luck with the tractor my head has been hanging low. :(

As for my bad luck the brief story is

The tractor took so long to get that the road I was trying to maintain was a giant sheet of ice with snow drifts on it that were over 6' tall. Bought tire chains for it but it sure didn't stop me from putting the tractor in the ditch took almost a full day to get it out and cracked two finders in the process my chains just chewed the crap of them while trying to get it out. I guess they were a little loose (another lesson learned) OH and to top it off my Father slid side ways down a hill in to the tractor oh don't worry the tractor's fine it's the Suburban that lost that battle.

I am going to try to take a video of it in action and post for all to see. (Maybe over the x-mass break) We have a ton of snow here. All tho I am still pissed the tractor is ripping the crap out of the snow throws it a mile absolutely awesome.

Thanks for asking

sorry to hear about everything.
I understand about the chains these new compact and utility tractors dont leave you much room to put the chains on to begin with let alone a little space for the chains to go when the loosen up. I would recommend getting a few good bungee straps or they have special tensioners to put on to keep the chains tight.

Your road sure sounds like a pain especially with ice on it.

Well I hope every goes well from now on and looking forward to seeing pictures and videos of the tractor and blower in action.
