I have come to a place in life that may leave me without a tractor. (THIS IS NOT AN OPEN SALE OFFER, I already have a buyer) Parts of the ol' Farm are going away, and perhaps sooner than later it all will leave me. First my big tractor is moving on. I am in a tight spot with the pricing. I have to sell it to my Father-in-Law who in turn will sell it to my Brother. The sequence is based on Accountant and Lawyer advice as this coincides with a Corporation involved on my farm. Anyway I want a to be able to state a fair price and have no seller remorse, no buyer remorse, and no (FURTHER) family fued. Okay, I know from doing business in family there is never a win win win situation. Let's just see if we can get a ballpark that seems reasonable. I have done some searching on used equipment sites already, no time for some Tractor Heads opinion.
2 Years Old now.
300 hours.
TC55-DA SSS, NH Loader Quick Attach, 6' Bucket, Industrial Forks, 759C backhoe with 18" Bucket, 2 Rear Remotes, 4WD.
Going to include a 6' Heavy Duty Landpride Brushhog and a 6' Box Blade with Hydraulic bar for teeth (well used).
The tractor runs great.
After adding up the what I paid for everything it is a little over 38K for the whole setup new. I was thinking around 29K seems to be more than a fair price.
So am I in the ballpark, or to low, or to high?
I hate selling things. I hate pricing thigs to sell and I hate selling.
