TC55 TC48 Rear Remote install questions

Just bought the rear remote kit for my TC55. It has different parts than what is shown in the parts list of the instructions. 3ea 3/8-24 bolts for the valve body but also 3ea 3/8-24 studs. When should I use the studs? Kit is labeled 719933006 #1 position completing kit.

I'm guessing the studs would be used if there is a clearance problem putting in bolts to secure the unit to what ever structure secures it to the tractor. If clearance isn't a problem then use the bolts.
