Holy mackeral!! I never thought that they would hold that much. I bought a tc55d and chose not to have loaded tires because of the added 1600# to sink in my soft ground. i will have to add ballest when using loader. I couldnt believe they hold that much. R4's hold 74 gallons each at 75%. man that is serious weight!!

Roto I had my tire's filled with fluid also and it with the r4 dont sink as much as you think .Instead it kinda pack's the dirt .I thought the same thing and didn't add the fluid at first what a mistake .The tractor need's this ballast or some kind when the fel is in use.I wonder if you can use less if you have a backhoe.

definatley dont need loaded tires with backhoe. It weighs 1800lbs and its out beyond the rear where it really makes a difference. I have an 800lb boxland scraper that i leave on when doing loader work. It may not be 1600 like the loaded tires but it is out beyone the rear tires where the pivot point thing really make a difference. I cant deal with loaded tires on my soft ground. been there and done that. I had 16.9x24 R4's on my other tractor loaded and man did that sink. just too much weight. Plus i wouldnt be able to haul it down the road. As it is im 8000 plus trailer=10,000 to pull. thats the limit and i cant haul another 1600 no way.

My grader box don't weigh but 400 or so and with the large front bucket on the 270tl it don't even help.I had to fill the tire's to the recomended max to keep the rear tire's on the ground. It work's great now.The backhoe would be the ticket for loader work since you have one.

I dont have it yet. be a week or so. they ordered it from georgia. plus backhoe coming too. I will post pictures for sure.

i have a tc33d with 5 foot bucket and no loaded tires and i can haul full loads of dirt all day with nothing on behind. Are you saying (and im not doubting you at all just wondering) that with 800lbs on the 3pt hitch that a load of dirt will pick backend off the ground?

If you want to work your loader to the max then loaded tires, backhoe, what ever you can get on the back just about is necessary. I have loaded tires, max factory wheel weights, and a BH-90X backhoe and was picking up a burned out smaller car with it and felt my backend still almost off the ground. I have however done a pretty good job with just a brush hog on the back but if you want to move some serious weight you better have some weight on the back.
