hi I am looking at the new tc55da ,you guys seem to know alot about new holland.are these tractors any good.I have been looking at the kioti dk55also could use so help thanks

Kully, I think the NH TC55DA and the Kioti DK55 are both very good tractors. Why don't you test drive both and tell us your thoughts. You will be one of the first ones here to have driven the TC55DA. As a matter of fact, if you've driven the tractor, you know more than most of us. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I drove the TC55 a few days ago. 3 times around the large lot. Don't know if that qualifies me to speak on it's virtues but, it was fun! I did manage to throw mud all over the polished finish, it had been raining earlier in the day and the lot is unpaved. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif In the end I preferred the simplicity of the hydro on the 45 and the 55 was overkill for my needs anyway. The EHSS option is pretty handy though, you can flick it to go forward/reverse with your left hand fingers while still steering with your left hand, leaving the right hand free for the loader.

lamarbur and I spent quite a bit of time looking over a TC55 ESS last week. It is very similar to a higher HP version of a 2120 with some new sheet metal. Even the fuel tank and tool box are in the same places and the tool box looks just like they took it from the 2120. I know there has been a bunch of discussion on this forum as to the fact that the 2120 is about the same size tractor as the TC45 or 1920 but that is just not the case. The TC55 and 2120 are build on a larger frame and yes it matters... a lot. The dealers are very happy to have the 2120 size tractor back after about a 3 year absence. More hp also helps. None of the dealers I have been at are going to bother with the TC48 except on special order. The same being the case on the manual HSS on the TC55. This should be a very reliable tractor as seems to be built using a lot of 2120 technology. You can tell I'm biased toward the 2120 with the TC55 being the only tractor I would trade my still running fine 17 year old 2120 toward. I've used TC45's and as fine a tractor as they are they just can't do anywhere near the work of a 2120 class machine. I would say the TC55 is in the middle between the TC45 and the TN65.

hi andyand thanks for everbodys input, I have a 1962 4000 series ford model 4030. the tractor is in mint shape all rebuilt,but can not run a snowblower off the rear, no live pto and travel speed is to fast.looking for a reliable tractor,herd that the tn models have been having problems with electronics ,the tn55 had front end problems also. I did hear that the 2120 is very reliable , and good to here you like yours to.how is your tn 75 doing.just looking for input from newholland people on this very new tc55 ,I guess you can say that it is same as the case tractor dx55but I do not know how long the dx55 has been around or if trouble free thanks

The TC55 and DX55 are new models for both New Holland and Case this year. As with all new models, they won't be trouble free.
