Hey all!! I'm beginning to design (in my head) some bash plates for my 33d.. I was wondering if anyone out there has an opinion of the wisdom of welding mounting ears onto the rear FEL mounting arms for the purpose of attaching my bash plates... they seem pretty substantial, but I don't want to invite any more problems than I already have...

I've never taken my FEL off, nor do I plan to. If you plan to take yours off, just be sure you engineer any welding to allow for that.

I think you have a good idea; just be sure that you don't interfere with any of the steering clearances; this was the biggest concern my dealer had when I asked about this, after he told me I should buy a bulldozer for the eighteenth time. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
