Got the TD75D out of storage yesterday and the 3-point will not lower. It worked fine last spring and early summer with 3 point disks, plows, mower, subsoiler etc. But late summer/fall it was only run pulling a transport wheel disk; the hydraulics for the wheels worked fine.

All the time on the wheel disk and then stored in the barn over winter the 3-point remained fully raised. Now it will not lower. What do you think the problem is? Is there something I can check from the outside without tearing into the hydraulic internals? This is the first time in maybe 10 years the tractor was left sitting with the arms raised for months. The machine has 625 hours.

I'd look at the cable operated switch on the fender. I forget what NH calls it. But that thing having a sticky cable or slightly out of adjustment will cause your problem.

Hey, thanks, I'll take a look in that area.

My tc45d did that. Turned out i had the "speed" dial that controls how fast or slow your hitch lowers (under the seat) turned all the way to the "turtle " or slow setting. I dont know how i did it but that fixed it when i turned it.
