So now that I've had my tractor about 3 months and got it all broke in I'm looking around too see what kinds of neat accessories there are available for it.
I got a nice tractor with cab, AC and al the bells and whistles available in a so called economy tractor. I even put an AM/FM CD radio in it already. The little antenna on the top of the cab sucks but I'll fix that when it's warm again. It only pulls in the signal going from North to south in my field. When I turn the other way it fades out. I have the same problem with my cell phone.
I've been looking an the GPS systems with Auto steer. We plant a lot of wheat here for winter grazing and hay. I also have a couple Bermuda pastures. It would be nice to have nice straight rows and I swear I waste a lot of chemicals when I'm fertilizing and spraying for weeds. I can't figure out how to drive a straight line and not overlap no matter what I do. I have considerable experience driving Navy ships so a GPS is probably just what I need.
Any recommendations on what system to get for it?
Any tips on other time or money saving accessories that will work on this tractor too?
Thanks!
