Would you suggest the use of the Teeth or would I really be happy without them. Surely I'm new and considering all that I want with the initial purchase.
Please Give Feed Back.

If you want to dig with your FEL, you want bucket teeth.

I bought a toothbar with my first BX2200 five years ago. Took tooth bar off when I traded it a year later and sold bar later. Haven't bought another one since then. Probably won't save any money by buying with tractor unless you make your deal then ask if they will give you a toothbar at that price.:) Try using the tractor without it and then decide whether you need it. If you can do what you need to do without it then put your dollars into a boxblade. I mainly bought toothbar to save the edge of my bucket but I used a B7800 for 3 years without one and used it alot with little wear to bucket edge. Jobs and soil determine implement needs. Hard and/or rocky ground can be dug somewhat easier with a toothbar. Digging decent dirt or working a pile I prefer no toothbar.

I agree 100%. I even used mine when I was splitting wood.

Depends on what you want to do with the FEL. I rarely dig with mine but carry things all the time. The extra distance the teeth stick out helps immensely with what will stay in the bucket, especially branches and logs. Never regretted the purchase.

I purchased and installed what is called an bucket edge guard.:D It's kind of like a reverse tooth bar. I had installed one on by BX23 and liked it so well that I just installed and painted one on my new B3200 TLB. It protects your cutting edge of your bucket when plowing snow on blacktop or stone driveways. It also helps when your trying to pop out rocks that seem to grow in lawn. But I really believe it adds strength and about 5" to your buckets edge. If you can see in photos you can too hang items from teeth.

I built a tooth bar for my bx 23, cost me about 90 bucks, and about an hour of my time. When I traded the bx 23 for the b3030 i resized the toothbar and use it on the 3030. We dont have soil here just rock and clay, the tooth bar is great, a road i has been working on 5 feet at a time up the sie of a hill was suddely finished now that the tooth bar would flip the rocks out.
When Im handling loose material that requires the "finished" look when im done the tooth bar is off but the rest of the time its on. Works great for brush, seperating vines from mother earth, digging, plucking rocks, holding material in the bucket, haulin logs, and just general tearing up the surface of what ever it comes into contact with.
2 things i have to have, teeth for my bucket and a thumb for my hoe

I love my toothbar. Try to get them to throw it in the purchase. We have tons of Clay and Rock but the tooth bar also works wonders on popping out small sapplings and hooking onto a root ball. If you get an itch you can't reach, you can also hop off the machine and rub up against it....:p:p:p Keep your minds clean now!
