Can anyone tell me how much movement I should get in the vacuum pump belows on my Tef20's injection pump.
Like everything else on the tractor the injection pump has seized.
Using the manual I removed the governor from the drivers end of the injection pump and after a lot of soaking and very gentle fingertip pressure I got the governor pin/shaft to move freely and return under spring pressure.
The vacuum pipe from governor to inlet manifold was toast when I got the tractor, so I know that needs replacing.
The bellows is punctured and only the ring outside the rubber moves, the centre will not budge.
From the manual, I cannot tell if it is connected to the injection pump or simply rusted in place. I believe it should move.
