With spring around the corner, I just don't want to go through another season of changing 3 pt implements with the stock keeps the come on the 20 series B tractors. They are little or no better than the turnbuckle keeps on my BX that I bent with some regularity and cursed with almost every use.

KU Gator posted this photo. I assume he got them through a dealer, and they are from a 30 series.

Is that it? Is Kubota the only source? So, what's the going price these days?

I got my kit from Tractor Smart. They sell it as a complete kit for $192.20.

I'm sure you can get it through Messicks or anyone else for that matter. It's all Kubota parts.

Here's a picture of mine installed:

Those came standard on my B3000, and what a huge improvement over the turnbuckles.

Thanks for the link. Do I assume there is no aftermarket maker/supplier of these?

I got mine at Tractorsmart also. It was cheaper than piecing it togeather through my dealer. I believe there was a thread where someone was building some up that would work on the BX but I think he indicated he could build them for the B's also. I think slightly cheaper, but they did not seem to have as many hole allowing for as fine of adjustment as the Kubota version.

I did eventually realize a contributing factor to my bending turnbuckles was that big clevis you see in the picture of mine. It always seems to want to swing to starboard and I think was getting under the turnbuckle when I lowered the hitch. It dinged and slightly bent the telescopic ones, but they are more easily straightened. I have also went to a smaller clevis. In fact if you take a close look at the picture Ericdube submitted, his may be doing the same thing but going to port.

Pat's Quick Change system is an alternative. Each hook has a place to put the spreader in that will hold the arms apart. I made a spreader from a long turnbuckle that has a bolt welded vertically to each end. It just slides in but a nut could be put on the end of the bolts if worry is a factor.

It is left on to keep the stabilizers in control and out of the way when nothing is hooked up. It needs to be removed for PTO operation.

Also, a piece of 3/8" rebar, or similar, can be bent and left with the particular implement that it is used to make the Pat's line up for connecting. Several of my implements are not standard size so that helps tremendously.

No struggles with the BX2200 turnbuckles any more.

The price of the Pat's is about the same as the telescopic system.

The picture is somewhat deceiving. It never actually hit the hitch, but I've since removed the clevis from the drawbar as per your advice to prevent any future incidents! :)

Since you're asking, I have seen someone selling a telescopic stabilizer kit on Craigslist. I'm not positive it will work on a Bxx20 series, but it looks like it might. It's listed at $121 for the pair, although I don't know how well built it is or even if it will be a perfect fit or not (nevermind the fact that there's not a lot of adjustment holes on it.)

Personally, given the price difference, I'd soon as well buy the Kubota kit in case I ever needed to replace a part on it down the road. At least you know you'll be able to still get off-the-shelf parts.

I purchased mine off of ebay. They are for L Series, but I've seen several for the B's. Believe it was $175 shipped, and were Kubota Genuine.
