Ok now for your opinions.
My dealer wants to sell me a new RTV 900 Special Edition Model with a Curtis snow plow with power angle worth about $2200 installed.
I have a 2004 work site model with 350 hours on it. They sell the Special Edition for about $12000 without the plow.
He wants $6346 plus tax.

Good deal or not????????

You ask for my opinion, here it is !!!
Your worksite is still brand new, being no more hours than you have on it. I would keep my worksite model, and buy a new plow if I had to ..>>>>>> Your telling me he wants you to GIVE him your RTV Worksite Model, AND $6346 >>>> To me, that is NOT a deal !!!
But that's just me >>>>

That is exactly what I want to hear. What other people think about it. Actually he wants about $4150 plus $2200 for the plow.

does your 04 have hydro dump bed? how much more is the special edition over new unit like yours. if you don't have the dump option i would say not that bad a deal 4 years newer and warranty. i would guess that special edition with plow is 4000.00 higher than 08 base without plow. leaves 2400.00 for 4 years depreciation. 600.00 per year loss seems reasonable.

Yes my 900 does have the dump bed.
I like the Special Edition's alum wheels, canopy, sprayed on bed liner, and speedometer. Just couldn't decide whether it is worth that much.
I also like the pressure relief it has on the transmission that mine doesn't have.

That is no deal, he is trying to steal from you. If all you are going to do is drive it up and down main street or in a parade all that fancy crap will look very pretty but will not be pratical.

That Curtis price of $2200 includes the power angle. It is $1489 plus $125 without the power angle.

Thank you, that is why I ask what others think. He is making $400 more then he needs to.
Thanks to you all for all the responses. If he want to sell me that he will have to sharpen that pencil.
