Hey Mark - the flooring business must be treating you well, an L39 & B21  By the way, my livingroom & diningroom floors still look great - thanks for your advice way back when.

Here's why the B26 is out - no clearance for the FOPS canopy. Also I prefer to detach the loader...

Haz that sure is pretty and I can see why the FOPS would be a problem. Just to stir the pot, have you considered a ZTR mower rather than the mid mount tractor mower? I switched to a ZTR Cub Z-Force last year and spent about as much as you are going to on the MM mower. I’ll never go back to anything else. A ZTR would be perfect for the section of property you show in the photo.

Good thing about selling multi lines, We normally go to the case-ih buckets to keep the weight down on the q-tach buckets. The buckets are lighter and they also have about the right capacity.
Hazmat,
I see you already decided on the bucket but here are a couple of pics of my B2630 with the ATI QA and the Case bucket Art mentions.

Lots of good info - thanks everybody.

gone & broke it- That looks alot like the NH bucket on my Dad's TC40DA

MarkV - Re the ZTR - I've got a couple hills by the house where I need 4WD just to mow - I'm worried about flipping the ZTR - besides there is no way I'd convince wifey on 2 machines...

Reg - My Dad has a TC40DA (40HP) that I've used a bit. It is too heavy for my lawn - I have very soft dirt. R4s tear it up even a few days after rain. Most of my projects are moving loose materials - new topsoil for leveling, mulch etc. I have a couple small digging projects in mind for the hoe + the occasional stump

bialeki - I looked at the 70X - just seems a little small on the B3030. The Kubota BH75 specs out right in between the two woods models. The B26's BT820 specs out a bit stronger than the Woods 80X. I know the B26 is a heavier built machine than the B3030, but they are the same "chasis". My main concern is reach - when I demo'd my pool, I rented a 15,000# Volvo backhoe - I had to keep repositioning that thing - and it had a 15' hoe:eek:

The backhoe may be a moot point - wifey isn't going for it so far...

I saw your project photos of the beautiful pool demolition, looks like you have a good handle on what you need. Lets us know on what ultimately get.

Best of Luck!

Subscribing to this old thread for the info on lighter-weight (Case-brand?) buckets, as an alternative to hacking up my like-new B3000 bucket.
