Well switching to Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF in my B7500 has exceeded my expectations.

Please read my other fourm titled:
B7500 HST Power Steering and 3 Point Lift Problems in High Temp.

After a month of using my B7500 with Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF under different working conditions here are the results.

A) Fluid temp. averaged 7 deg. cooler. (This might not seem like a lot but less friction=less heat.)

B) Less hydro pump noise.

C) Less transaxle gear noise.

D) No jerky power steering problems at 90+ deg. on a good load at full engine RPM's.

E) No 3 point hitch lifting problems at 90+ deg. on a good load at full engine RPM's.

From my evaluation it seems like it performs better than Kubota Super UDT.

Anyone that has similar problems that I had in the past I would recommend trying Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF.

Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF fluid spec. is designed to use in Kubota equipment that require Super UDT.

Sounds good, but I have problems locating a dealer for it.

That is good news, I've had similiar results using Amsoil's Synthetic Multigrade ATH hydraulic fluid.

The most important key factor is the kinematic viscosity at ambient and operational temperatures, which allows these fluids to perform so well in HST and GST Kubotas.

Right now the west coast has it available in 5 Gallon buckets.
I am trying to work somthing out with a Chevron rep. to get it made available on the east coast and other locations in the U.S. in 5 gallon buckets. He said Cheveron has places in the country that has bulk supplies of the stuff. He said the stuff can be filled in 5 gallon buckets if there is a need. He is waiting to hear how much of a response there is.

Anyone that is intrested in 5 gallon buckets Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF why don't you email me at hweatherwax@nc.rr.com and I can forward the info to the rep.

I guess the rep. will need locations of where you live.

I have used Chevron 1000 THF for years in all my tractors. I went
to the Chevron website to look at the description for the All Weather
THF and it does not really say what the difference is. Here in the SF
Bay Area where Chevron is HQed, one still has to look hard to find
a distributor. I go to the distis listed on the CVX webstite.

BTW, 1000 THF is about 10.50/gal and I buy it in 5-gal bkts. I imagine
that All Weather THF is similar or more $. The orange color is helpful, too.

Chevron 1000 THF is speced. better on paper than Kubota UDT.

Oh, and UDT seems to be speced better for Hot weather operation than SUPER UDT.

It seems like Chevron 1000 THF is a good HST fluid for Kubota equipment that requires UDT specs. It seems like it will work well in hot weather.

Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF is speced for Kubota equipment that requires UDT or SUPER UDT. Chevron Synthetic All-Weather THF is good for both Hot and Cold weather operation.

Check out the Attachments for both Chevron products and compare the differences.
