at long last, my baby bx was delivered last night . . . with la203 fel, weight box, grill guard, 54" fine cut deck, and hd 60" front blade with cutting edge and squeegee edge.
i was put through the delivery info on the tractor and had enough time to get it under tarps (it may not fit in my 12' x12' lawn building. before lots of rain came.
it will be silently acclaimed as king of our hilll (road), as my neighbor has a new deere la150 and our other neighbor has an '89 deere 425aws.
i hope to get it working next week, and i expect to have some fits removing the fel etc. . . . the dealer made it look somewhat easy . . .
i just wanted to say thank you to all that gave me insight and info towards my buying decision.
home at last. thanks a million ---once again. robert a. ////a.k.a shrekbelly

Congrats on the new purchase. I do not think you have any problems. My FEL was a challenge. I added a little bit of machine grease to the pins and joints and have had no trouble. Also it gets easier as the paint wears off.

Congratulations. Mine was delivered yesterday and it joins a BX24 stablemate. Let me know how shifting between front, front and mid, and mid only PTO is. Mine is pretty stiff! I did not get the FEL as it was bought to be a mower companion to the BK24 TLB. Check the fluids. The coolant was very low on mine when delivered. I show .6 hours after mowing today! It came with .3 hours on it. How many hours were showing on yours? Curuious.

congrats on your new machine.

you'll get used to dropping and installing the loader. takes me about 2 mins each way now.

You'll find the loader is really easy to R&R as long as you do it on a flat spot. If you drop it on an uneven surface it can be a real hassle.

The MMM is the real grabber. I've done it probably 15 times and it's still a pain! Surely someone at Kubota can devise a better mower mount! When you put the deck on make sure you get the driveshaft securely fastened. Grab it and shake, pull, whatever. There are some horror stories about the damage if it comes loose.

Yes, removing one from my BX24 caused me to buy the BX1850 for mowing on which I could keep the MMM on, without removing it very often. Have to say though that mowing without a FEL and B/H attached is so much easier! With weekly mowing, removing and replacing the B/H and FEL from the BX24 for mowing was just not reasonable.
