Thank You, New 4110

I would like to thank all who contribute to this forum. Because of you I was able to make a very informed buying decision. I have been looking at compacts for several years, but until I found this site over a year ago I knew nothing about them. From reading the posts I was able to determine the size that would fit my needs, and alot about each model offering in that size.

I opted for a JD 4110. It was delivered a week ago. I think that I would have been happy with any of three major brands (JD, NH or Kubota). There were minor things about all three brands that i liked better than the other. The difference came down to the dealer. For my area the JD dealer has a great reputation, and is only 6 miles from my house.

I have logged only a few hours on the machine. It mows great. I got the 410 loader and 60 MMM with it. I have had one problem already. The voltage regulator was broke and had to be replaced, the battery was not charging. The dealer came immediately and got it, fixed and returned it. As you would expect with a new purchase.

I think I will be happy with my purchase (hopefully it's the only problem I'll have for a while). Thanks once again to everyone.

I have had my 4110 for about a month and I love it. I have had not issues with it to date (knock on wood).

I did not get the MMM as I have a ride lawn tractor already that does a great job in this space. I got the 410 loader as did you and filled R4's. I just recently purchased a 3PH carryall it is made by a company called Worksaver. I had to add the PT 5/4 stock to it. Other than the FEL it is the most used attachment. It can be used for a varity of different things. I have a horse farm , so it helps in hauling hay,bag shavings and grain back to the barn.

Congrat's on the new machine !!! I also used this forum for info before making my purchase.

Congratulations on your 4110. I'll bet the more you use it, the better you will like it. Did you get gear or HST?. I have about 12 hours on mine and am having a ball. Send us a pic when you get the chance. Enjoy

Thanks Guys! I am really fired about about getting it, I've been wanting a tractor for so long.

It is a Hydro. It worked fantastic while mowing. For it's size, it is far more maneuverable and easier to drive than my old garden tractor. Also I have an acre of newly seeded lawn that I mowed for the first time. The R4 tires were no problem in regards to marking or tearing anything up. Of course I took the FEL and ballast box off before mowing to reduce weight. The FEL goes on and off so easy, even the first time I did it.

I go today down to Archbold Ohio to purchase a back blade.

My neighbor also bought a new JD. I asked what he liked about the tractor he bought. He said they were all great and it was the JD green that really tipped the scale for him. How are you going to argue with that? Have a blast with your tractor, its a great way to invest your time. Rat...

I could have posted almost exactly the same post too. Except for mine's a 4310. I bought a new box blade Saturday and the dealer delivered it for free. On the front of the tiltbed truck was a new 4110 he had sold down the road from us with a FEL and a 4' bushhog shredder. It looked really nice and I know the Hydrostatic is the best thing since sliced bread. Now I want a Rear blade to build up some roads.
