Early this morning I read a post on this site about someone who was angry and frustrated about his Craftsman mower. It is cool and dry here and I take every opportunity like this to go out and cut wood for the winter. I kept on thinking about this person and my own experience, though somewhat different.
About 10 years ago I found this site. My 滴 was getting tired and I was getting older, so I was in the market for something newer. After researching on TractorByNet I finally came to a decision in 2005 on what to purchase. I chose the tractor primarily because of dealer location.
I am under legal restraints not to mention the name of the tractor or the dealer, but if anyone is interested in the story, it is here. The last time I looked, eight years ago, it had over 3k hits. I will try to leave enough clues.
My postings on this forum caused quite an uproar in this small burg. I was accused of trying to ruin someone痴 business and there are people who hate me today over this. It was never my intent (to ruin a business), but I was angry and frustrated. The Indian Motorcycle Company was more understanding of my situation and bent over backwards to help solve the problem.
I want to say that it had nothing to do with the quality or build of the Red tractor. It is a great tractor built by a great people. I would be happy with one today.
I never thanked Tractorbynet. Thank-you. This is long overdue. It was the power of this forum which helped solve my problem and gave me a place to vent.
I purchased another tractor several years later because of what I read on this site and have been very happy with it.
Thank-you for everything TractorByNet.
