First I would like to thank everyone here for all the helpful posts. I have been reading the board for about a year and learned alot. I think the board helped me make an informed decision on buying a tractor.
Last year my dealer was stearing me towards a JD 790 for my budget, it just way too big for my purposes and that is when I found TBN. Then I was all set to buy a 4110 when my dealer sent me to the farm show in Syracuse and I saw the 2210. It seamed to be just the right size for me. Thanks to all here that posted such positive reviews of the 2210. I was a little hesitant to buy a brand new model with no track record.
So, here is the deal I got. It's not the best, but it's not the worst. It's a fair deal though. I paid $13,220 for the JD 2210 with turf tires, 210 loader with the bigger 54" bucket, 62c MMM, Landpride 48" box blade, iMatch, 2 chain hooks welded to the bucket, engine block heater, a grease gun, 1 gal of hydraulic fluid, setup, delivery, and 2 hour instruction on how to use my new tractor. My dealer even drove up to my property from 40 min away to make sure I could do everything I needed to with the 2210, even brought me a hat.
I just need a little more advice. I am going to get the 47" JD snowblower. However, the one the dealer showed me does not look anything like the one in all the 2210 lit and website. The one the dealer has is yellow and looks like the 46" snowthrower in the purchasing guide. The one in the guide and on the website is green and does not look anything like the one at the dealer. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Also is $2400 a fair price for the snowblower?
I will post pics as soon as my 2210 is delivered. I will also post pics of my property in Cooperstown.
Thanks,
