Signed a P.O. today on the following:

4710 E-Hydro, Speed match, Cruise Upgrade, Tall Folding ROPS, Front and Rear work lights, R4's, Telescoping 3pt., 460 FEL w/4-in-1 bucket, X-tra armor kit, and bucket level indicator.

Couldn't muster up the courage (i.e. cash) to get the Backhoe but I think I'll be wishing I had one. (seems like "I" had a teacher say don't use I in a sentence - I must have failed - she probably taught me spelling too)

Could have gotten the 4410 with FEL & BH for about the same price but something about the larger tractor just felt right.

Also, found a good dealer that seemed to have a good service dept.

Congrats AuCivil, that's going to be one fine tractor. Be sure to post some pictures for us to drool over when it arrives. When do you get it? I'm in the same boat on the backhoe. Didn't get one, wish I did, still don't have the money for one /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

By the way... what did you decide with the 4in1 JD or the "other brand"?

The Dealer already had one on order - said it should be delivered in the next week or two.

Stayed with the JD 4-in-1. I like to have a matched set, wouldn't want another company involved if I have problems (said with fingers crossed that I don't have any).

Still thinking about the Backhoe /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

Even though you may wonder what might have been with the backhoe, you should still be very happy about your purchase for a long time.

There were reasons that JD came out on top of the last TractorByNet.com awards<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tractorbynet.com/awards/index.shtml>http://www.tractorbynet.com/awards/index.shtml</A>. You made a wise choice.

Don't worry too much about the backhoe. I wanted one really bad when I bought my 4600 but it wasn't in the funds at that time. I just kept watching machine finder and found a brand new one for $5000 installed that a dealer had on another tractor and the guy that bought it didn't want it so the dealer was blowing it out the door.
