I wanted to thank all of you that contributed to my threads looking for tractor buying advice a few months ago. Put it all together, placed my order and then waited forever (ok, around three months) for it to arrive. My 2520 was finally delivered Friday!!! Salesguy who delivered it spent 4 hours here introducing me to how everything worked (the only tractor experience I had prior to this is the Craftsman lawn tractor that came with the house). It's way better than I had even imagined. Spent three hours in the sand ring Saturday practicing with the FEL and rake. Would have been out there longer but had other (less exciting) stuff to do. I'll be out again tonight after work!!

Anyway, I probably could not have gotten the deal and known what attachments to get without your assistance, so thanks again!!!

Do what I did when I got my tractor. Go to Tractor Supply and get a John Deere Tee shirt. They were on sale when I got mine. My wife kidded me about it, but I like the shirt. It goes nice with my tractor. I got some work gloves with the John Deere logo, too - the $8.00 ones. I keep them on the tractor for when I need to handle roots and rocks.

I had actually already gotten two from TSC in anticipation. As it turned out, the dealership gave me a goodie bag of doodads including a JD cap & tee shirt! A year ago when I moved here, my fiance had gotten me those very gloves you mentioned too. So now, like when I ride my Harley with all the branded gear, I can do the same on my tractor. In fact - what am I doing here on my computer when I could be out there?!?! :laughing:
