Last week my brand new John Deere 2520 (including backhoe w/16" bucket, Drive on 62"MM with Independent Lift kit, 61" FEL cx200 loader w/61" bucket, and Bradco Pallet Forks) has arrived.

This bad boy is everything I could dream of. In the first 5 days I have had so much fun learning and playing around. I was so happy to see how easy to operate and set everything up was. I have never owned a tractor or really drove one before, but within minutes everything felt really solid and easy to use. Within hours I felt right at home.

The Bradco Pallet forks are amazing. I am pretty happy I made the move for them. The 62” D MM was a dream. I read about previous users having problems with the front wheels not turning and causing divots, well John Deere must have fixed them because mine worked great without any issues. They spin free without any issues. Anyone thinking about buying a 62D should have no worries. The drive over feature is super clean and very nice feature. After the first grass cut in the wet I am happy to report the R4’s did not cause any tracks. The grass was very long about 6” and wet and I cut it to 2.5” without a care in the world. The 2520 with 62D plowed thru it and gave a great cut at a fast speed. When fired up the big 62D with 2520 motor sounds like a jumbo jet getting ready to take off. :D

Once again I am so happy with my overall John Deere experience. The product lived up the hype. The build quality is great.

I also can’t thank a gentleman named Javan at Mutton Power Equipment | Compact/Utility Tractors

Since I bought and imported the tractor from USA into Canada, I can’t thank Javan for making the experience very easy and friendly and most importantly gave me the best price going without any issues. If anyone is looking to purchase a machine and is getting the run around from the local dealer, call Javan and the gang at Mutton is set up for cross country shipping. They are people I would highly recommend. Once again great group of people to deal with and I can’t thank them enough.

Lastly words can’t describe how helpful a lot of members have been here during my learning and shopping experience. This site really made things possible.

Thanks again.

Here are some photos, sorry for the bad quality. I was too excited to play on the tractor than take photos. Sorry for the long post

Thanks everyone, it feels great to be part of the club :D

The 2520 is an animal. To be honest I am more amped over the 2520 purchase than I was over the 2006 Toyota truck

I already have the itch to buying some more attachments. I really want to buy a box blade, any good suggestions? or basically they are all the same?

because The truck is not near as much fun.....:D

as for box blade. i use the frontier BB2060 it is I-match compatable and its 5 foot. 2520 has no problem pulling it with the scarfers all the way down.
and i like the larger bite from a 60 incher. a bit pricey as all frontier stuff. i wanted to keep it all JD. it is built well about 500 pounds or so.

Chris....:)

I'm glad you said that. I was beginning to think I had a bad bearing or something. I've been referring to mine at "the turbine".
