So far, even at 5.1 hours, it still will not take the rest of the 2 gallons of diesel fuel.

All the JDs pretty much run at a prorate on engine hp of the 660 hour 4010's 0.46 gph. This one is far less, challenging the Isuzu's position for fuel sipper at our ranch. It's at 0.33 gph over 230 hours but hogged it for 72 hours during our exceedingly bad cold spell, raisiing its usage rate to the 0.33 level.

I had a JD4700 (48hp at the engine) for 10 years starting in 2000 and my son-in-law still has it. It was always quite frugal on fuel to the point that I never gave it a thought and never knew any gph numbers. It was a 4cyl Yanmar direct injection. I did notice when I got a larger tractor (81hp turbocharged Perkins 4cyl MF 2660HD weighing around twice as much...) that I used a lot more fuel but still no knowledge of how much. I can bush hog ,clipping pasture fields and clearing debris, for 2 or 3 work days on less than a tank of fuel with either machine. However much a tank is ... the big difference is that now I find a larger transfer tank and use a pump to fill from it where 5 gal cans sufficed with the Deere.

FINALLY, at 5.7 hours, it took the rest of the 2 gallons of fuel, but just barely. That's about 0.34 gph, a tad higher than the much smaller Isuzu's average usage. About half what the JDs all used.

Impressive fuel usage numbers indeed!
Especially important with Bidenflation!
Good Luck with your new machine.

I know my B2620 is very good on fuel. Used to take my 20 h.p. Craftsman lawn tractor 4.5 gallons to mow around my house one time. The Kubota can do it 13 times on that amount.

What kind of work are you doing with it?

Doing mostly wood chipping and wood hauling what I was doing with the JD 2025R that used 0.6 gph. This one is using about 0.34 gph and is 1 hp more on the engine.

Managed to get the 2nd 2 gallons of fuel in it today at 12.2 hours. Didn't quite fill it. Likely the 2nd 2 gallons took it just past 11.4 hours.

me, I'm into stingy considering the cost of ORD today. I'm dreading filling my 500 gallon bulk tank (it has about 50 in it presently). Went up to the coop and filled 6 5 gallon cans and it was $101 and change. Each of my 2 M's hold 30 a piece. I know I won't be idling them this summer with the ac on for sure
