...you can screw up one time and so many people see it you have to eat lots and lots of crow. Well, I screwed up just a bit. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif So crow is on my menu for awhile. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
A few weeks ago, Mrs. GreenAcres asked what a new tractor owner should look for when the new tractor arrived. I gave her a list of things to look at and also a list of filters for the TC40 and TC45 tractors. When I was at my dealer yesterday morning, there was a HST filter I could not find and went to the parts desk to check it out. The guy took one look at my list and said, "Oh, these are old numbers. Most of these have changed." So here is the list again and I've added the current numbers in blue after the old numbers. I'm sure these numbers would cross for anyone who would try to use them, but if you can use the right number, I'm sure that would be a good idea and save the lookup.
TC40/45 Boomer Filters (HST)

Here are a couple of other tips. The fuel filter kit number I listed includes the fuel filter bowl. Can you believe it? /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif If you want to buy all the parts in one kit, you have to buy the entire new glass bowl. How many times when you change a fuel filter do you break the bowl? /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I'd post all the individual part numbers too, but you can bet they have all changed. I don't understand. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Does anyone have a clue why they would do this? I'd expect them to put all the needed parts and seals into one nice kit their dealers could easily stock and sell, and the customers would like because they wouldn't get home and find they needed another part...but not the bowl. Oh well. There's some "Dilbert" mentality in every corporation I guess. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
So I'm sorry for puttin' out some bad skinny, but I hope this still serves to help those who can use it. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
