The best way to connect

I have a Wallenstein log splitter and a Yanmar 220d. What is the best way to connect. I知 using the out or the A port from the tractor to the in on the splitter But I was going to use the B port or inlet but is this the correct or run it to PBY

I'm guessing you are talking about a loader valve?
If you use working ports you will need to be able to hold the joystick to engage whatever ports you're using...

If you use the power beyond (PBY) you will need to add a plug inside the pb port on the valve then connect the pb port to the pressure port on the splitter valve...and plumb the return line back to a return/tank line on the tractor (this can be tee'd)..with the latter setup when the splitter is not being used...the pby line must be connected to the return line
