Why I have a tractor. The pictures of the rider is my daughter in competition. The rest are our farm.

Wish my pastures looked this nice. It's been monsoon season here since spring and I haven't been able to keep up with work and the pastures both. Some good looking, healthy horsies in this photo.

Beautiful pics of your property and horses! You get snow in Alabama?

My Wife tells me that I must have been a "Rain Maker" at some time in my life, because Everytime I plan on working outside, there comes a downpour. It's been this way for almost two weeks. I sincerely hope that you receive some beneficial Rain, soon. Best wishes.

Easing through the barn with a 8 and a half foot wide, 28 foot long flatbed trailer. The tractor just squeezes through also.

Beautiful place you have. The snow pictures surprised me though in Alabama.

Harvest is in northern Alabama, ten miles south of Tennessee. Snow is still a surprise. Very nice hills.

Absolutely beautiful, Mate. Two questions: What kind a pasture seed are you using?

And, how did your daughter do in the 3DE?

That is good ole Fescue mixed with some Clover, Bermuda, and native Alabama broom straw and weeds. I seed it when the rotary cutter passes over it :). It is a good mix that is tolerant of most what mother nature sends our way in North Alabama all year long. I think that particular event, she placed 3rd.

You live very close to my BIL and his family. They are due east of you right near Homer Nance Rd. & Winchester Rd. Absolutely beautiful country and my wife would love to move back there. I've never lived in AL, but I wouldn't mind it. It'd sure beat Memphis!!!

We love it here in north Alabama. No plans to go anywhere else unless we just can't keep the city off of us.

Snow Feb 2014 126.jpg This winter has been brutal for North Alabama standards... We usually get a little snow in March too!
