Out here in the Central Valley of California, it started pouring around 11:00 p.m. last night and woke up this morning to see this out the dining room window. Probably fifty acres in all including five neighbor properties, this is not from an overflowing creek, just higher land seepage seeking a lower release. Last week I hauled out the two flatbed trailers in anticipation of this but left the disc and rotary mower thinking they would be o.k. on higher ground. Not so. That's my barn style shop in the background that I built in 2004-the house was built in 1913 and I might add with a very dry basement
. This seems minimal compared to what a lot of others around our country are going through so I wish the best for those of you who are in far more peril than us. Last night was a real rain dumper out here, our other property up near Mariposa got 5-1/2" over night. If this depression rolls eastward, hold on tight my friends.
