Dealer called today about 1:00pm to tell me they just unloaded the 4410. I went down late today to look at it and there has been some updates from the one I looked at 2 months ago, the seat looks to have a higher back and mounts & controls don't look the same or like what is in the books, rear SCV's mounting moved, also the rear wheels are not a solid disc in the center, they look more like the 4710 wheels with four points attached to the rim. They will service tomorrow and salesman will bring by on his way home. I came home charged the battery on my dads 8n that he had let me use/ rebuild unhooked my mower, loaded it on the trailer and will drop off at dads 5:30am tomorrow.

Congrats MODEERE, that sounds like one fine machine. I've seen the rear wheels you mentioned on my tractor though mine has the solid discs. Not sure what they call them, but the ones you are getting offer many different positions for width by reversing the center and mounting the rim on either side of the center disc. I suspect a nicer and more expensive wheel.

Good luck with the new machine... if it treats you half as good as my 4310 treats me you will be very happy!
By the way what kind of tires did you get on it??? Might explain the different wheels! (I got the oversized R4's with the one piece rims!)

The salesman delivered the 4410 tonight. I put the hyd. top link on that I built, hooked up the Befco RD7 and knocked out our 7ac yard before dark with it, total mowing time about 2 hours. Got some real double takes from people that live down the blacktop, they have been getting a good laugh out of me fighting the old 8N Ford for the past two months, good thing it is hard to read lips at 50mph.
Only had one little SNAFU-- the parts dept. had misplaced the auto cruise kit and had to reorder, should be here by the weekend and they will install. I did get the big R4 tires, the rear wheels are one piece with only two ways to mount but look alot like the fronts with the square in the center welded to the rim in four places. All the others I have seen are a solid disc in the middle.Hang in there guys you will be glad you did, about two weeks ago I was ready to cancel and get a Case IH but it was worth the wait for JD.
