A friend of mine inherited this little smithy from an uncle, not big, but all you need to have fun.

I can remember a time when the plough shares were taken to the Blacksmith shop to be sharpened.:D

A co-worker started making knives out of railroad spikes years ago, he makes some beautiful stuff and sells it at craft shows. Puts on demonstrations at exhibits as well.

Certainly a nice little setup, but I was wondering about the reason for the walls tapering in from top to bottom.:confused:

No reason that I can think of, but the man that made the smithy was a very practical man that used what he had at hand.
Funny though, it does not matter, its the room at shoulder high that counts.
I think the floor is from a trailer, the window is from a bus, the fan is from an oil burner.

You beat me to it, I was going to say that my shoulders are further apart than my feet! But not my waist.:mad:
