Here is a 2 row John Deere corn planter that we just got in. It had JD logos all over it. We took off the fertilizer boxes and brackets that were mounted behind the corn boxes before we painted it. They were shot. I have never seen one like it. What is the model # ? I have the same question and pics posted over on the YT forum. I wonder if the old timers can beat the younger more agile TBN group LOL. Ken Sweet

Looks like a mutt. The rear parts look like 490/494, but with no-till front and a homemade tool bar. Looks like some one really went to work. :thumbsup:

The tool bar and A-Frame is definitely JD. Original JD logo and paint on it when it came in. Ken Sweet

Yep, that was me (over @ YT) who identified that as a pair of #44 unit planters.

Yt is a greta site! i lerk there alot only posted once or twice then lost my password / name. Great info for the old/ classic equipment that i like. I like coming over here to see what these guys are spending on new stuff.
