I have admittedly been a bit **** retentive about maintenance, as I am still in the honeymoon phase with my BX24. There is a fitting listed in the manual that for the life of me I can not find. They refer to three spots on the tractor itself, the two battery terminals and the pedal pivot. If I crawl under the tractor I can see the joint but there does not seem to be any fitting to grease it through. I have also pulled up the rubber mat thinking it might be under there, no go. Can anyone shed some light on this mystery?

That one is a bugger to find, but you can find it. I was in the same boat as you. I was convinced that one didn't exist. If memory serves, there is a cutout portion of the rubber mat near the pedal that has to be lifted. My tractor isn't nearby or I would take a photo of it. Sorry.

Follow the HST pedal down until you find it's pivot point. The grease fitting is on that collar. Keep looking... it's there.

On my bx24 I just "smeared" some grease over the battery terminals and the other one for the speed pedal is under the squared cutout in the floor mat thru one of the holes in the floorboard.

I have also used Dielectric grease (silicone based) on and inside of the battery terminals, great stuff, made for conductivity.

Also, the honeymoon never ends!

:D :D
