I do have some linkage points that maybe what you describe but there is noting attached to them. I do know one of these point is an arm that goes into the trans. Mine also has the UFO, a hyd control for the 3pt arm and 2 switches but I've not found out what any of this is for except for the control of the right lift arm.
Wish I knew more. What I said previously is what my dealer has told me but he doesn't know exactly how all this works together.
