Hey guys-thanks for all the advice, opinions and experience you pour into this site. I've been reading your ideas for a couple of years now but didn't join till I had my own iron in the garage. After a last bit of prodding from the CFO at my house I pulled the tirgger on a new B7800 with an FEL, Box blade, brush mower and disc-still looking for a sprayer and will be calling Markhams for a tooth bar next week. You all helped me with not only the tractor selection but the accessories and even one how I added lights to my ROPS, so I really can't thank you enough.

All I need now is a few more days of warmth to melt the rest of the snow down on the farm in SE MN, then I'll get some serious seat time.

Thanks guys

I thought I was the only one waiting for the snow to melt and the ground to dry some. Congrats on your purchase. I'm sure you will get many projects accomplished with your tractor. Post some pics of some of them..

Congratulations on the new B7800 and welcome aboard TBN.

The B7800 sure seems to be a popular model.

I greased mine today, pulled the drainage plug on the clutch assembly, put the tooth-bar back on and took my back blade off. Unfortunately I couldn't actually operate the tractor a lot since we still have a lot of wet snow on the ground and since the ground underneath is very soft the tractor makes an aweful mess.

Congrats & welcome safetyman. Great tractor you bought, I was all set to get a 7800 myself then the dealer gave me a deal on a B3030 that I couldn't pass up.

Where is the this drainage plug on the clutch assembly? You have a part number from the parts manual? I wasn't aware the clutch assemply had such a thing.

no part number but it's just a threaded plug that sits close to the drive shaft at the mid point of the B7800. The owner's manual suggests pulling the plug to drain any water that might accumulate from rain or snow. I didn't have so much as a drop of water come out after I opened it up. I guess 3 months of use isn't enough time for any water to collect.
