The new one and the old one pics

It is a nose to nose confrontation, 1959 550 Oliver versus a 2010 1643 Massey Ferguson, I do not know if the new one will be there in 51 years.

....(I do not know yet how to put 2 photos on the same thread, I'll learn). The tractors have almost the same size, but on the 1643 because of the flat platform we sit a lot higher.

And I've heard, in addition to being more capable at farm-type ground engagement tasks, 4WD tractors are actually more fuel efficient-- can anyone confirm this?

I had old Farmall H,if work the H one need to fill gas tank least once a day but w/diesel not so,seems twice longer run time before refueling.

Getting harder and harder to purchase newer gas farm tractor.

Nebraska tractor study could offer more info..pass to present.

Maybe but yesterday I sold my old Oliver ( I feel strange about it), so I cannot do the ultimate test but I,m shure that both tractor would have drowned and I would be without any tractor today

It,s raining hard today, it would have been a good day for the ultimate test :laughing::laughing:. Have a nice day
