You guys may want to check this out. Polaris did tons of stuff this year.

-24hp Full Size Diesel model
-Dropped the full size 500, picked up a mid size 500
-Mid sized 500 crew
-New Rzr look
-Picked up a newly colored Rzr4

That's just what it appears so far, and that's just utility vehicles, I haven't checked on the ATV's yet.

Also, when Can-Ams UTV comes out, it seems it will be a nice competitor.

This link takes you to the Diesel Polaris, to see more models, click on the top line where it says Ranger.

And it appears that for the Sportsman, the -50 series stayed the same, dropping the 550 x2, but the -00 changed the front end.

I like it! Yanmar diesel and you can get it in any color you want (as long as it's green). Polaris makes a great UTV, with a proven diesel it should be a winner!

My latest 4-wheeler magazine had a short right up about the new Can-AM Commander 1000cc v-twin on the same chassis as their utility ATV's. It looks great, will be nice to see how it handles.

I still want to see a big name player make a $5000 UTV. I don't need to spend $12k on something I might use every other weekend for fun. Even used ones are tough to find under $5k.

The video comparing the new diesel ranger to a RTV 900 is telling! Small pipes and plastic aside-the Diesel Ranger Kicks butt...

The Ranger 400 and the small gators come close to that. Not quite $5k though.

There is no comparing the RTV and the Ranger, if I work it is the RTV1100, if I play it is the Ranger RZR S.

Well not much compares to the 1100. I plan to never own one, as Kubota is on my list of no nos until they become antiques and I can buy one to show my grandchildren the tractors I drove when I was young. They make a great piece, not for me. But the work factor is what keeps the RTV in the lead, but not by much. If you have any need for off-road, go for the Ranger any day.

I have to completely disagree with you. The Kubota is a work machine that is built like a tank. The others have plastic limited capacity beds along with other short comings.

If you want speed and play, it's an RZR. Work...Kubota 900 or 1100 all the way. The military, airports and utility companies are buying those up all day long..That says something.

Actually if you bought a Kubota diesel RTV, and took care of it, you would be taking you grandkids for rides in it. The others, probably not.
