Mahindra mpower 75
Hi. I just wanted to say that I love reading all the fantastic information on this site and thanks for any help or insight you might have!

I have a mPower 75, and today was the first 50 hour maintenance. We bought the filters and oil from our local Mahindra dealer, and after getting the old filter off, compared them to the new one. The new one is longer, maybe like 2 inches longer! We called our dealer who confirmed the part # and said to go with it, even though we had our doubts about it fitting with the metal cover. Totally didn't fit. Called the dealer back, they said they didn't know and would call Mahindra.

I looked up the part number on the Mahindra parts site (which is super neato) and they list 2 different oil filter part numbers. I googled and came up on a link here.

Anyone experience anything like this? I'm a total beginner to tractors and mechanical things in general, but my dad is a heavy equipment service grand master (retired). Anyone know how to reset the Service buzzing light? I didn't find that in the manual, and the service guy that works at the dealership said he'd have to look it up. They're a brand new dealership, I'm pretty sure I bought the first tractor from them (they have 3 other stores in other parts of TX).

Anyhoo! Tractors are awesome, you guys are awesome, super excited to talk tractors!

Welcome to TBN and the forum. Unfortunately - you have also entered the world of replacement parts - which at times can be VERY confusing. I hope you still have the original oil filter - drain the old oil out of it - take it back with you to the dealership. Hopefully - one of the two listed filters is the one you actually need. What is the other for - ??? - who knows. I have not heard of a diesel engine having two engine oil filters - two hydraulic oil filters - definitely, YES.
