A live PTO is almost essential for things like snowblowing and bushhogging. For the money I spent on my tractor, not having it was a deal breaker; I was all ready to buy the geared 3301 but realized that feature was lacking, the night before I pulled the trigger.
I was rather frustrated last night, as it seems I may need to pull my fuel tank off and clean it properly; but it's not the machine's fault that I fed it bad fuel. I do regret not spending a little more for a 3901DT; but this will have to last until it's paid for or until I can get by with something smaller.
