I don't expect the exchange rate to have a very long advantage either, but it sure has a lot of folks questioning the viability of importing seasonal goods versus working out a stateside arrangement. Conventional wisdom was that many parts we use for implements can't be had from US producers at a competitive price, but we have found US producers that fit the bill quite nicely. It took some real work on our part, and in a couple of cases we put someone into business to get what we wanted. But the payoff is quicker lead times, better control over quality, and most of the time, better pricing and terms.
I will be at South Hall A in booths 154 & 155. Will definitely have a working TCC system (they won't let us run the tractors, but I have an electric hydraulic pump that runs the system just fine), possibly the new quick hitch and Midwest will also have a few items on display. What days will you be coming by?
