In order to keep this own topic, what type mower would you get a 3 day old?
My wife delevered the twins on Saturday morning. Hunter Cole was first at 2:48am, he was 6lbs 3ozs and 19 1/4in. Chance Hayden soon followed at 2:49am, he was 5lbs 13ozs and 18 1/2in. They were 5 weeks premature.
Mom had high blood presure, 160/95, Friday. They gave her magnisium to controll it. It didn't work so they removed the boys. Mom will come home tomorrow, Wednesday.
A side effect of the magnisium on infants is apnia (stop breathing) Chance was good after a couple of munites. It took Hunter nearly an hour before he would beath on his own. I have about 10 times the gray hair now compaired to Friday.
Chance has done well. The only thing that has kept him in ICU is his weight. He was down to 5lbs 4ozs at last weight. As soon as it starts going up he will come home. Should be Wednesday.
Hunter has had a harder time of it. Respratory distress was the diagnosess I heard. Without too much detail, he has been under a O2 'tent' sence he started breathing on his own. Today, Tuesday, he finally got out of the tent and has O2 injected thru tubes in his nose. He is doing much better. Dad has even more gray hairs. Saturday they removed the umbilical cord to put in a cathater in his artery, no neddles ever hour. That should be removed tomorrow. He should be feed formula tomorrow instead of sugar water thru an IV. And last but most imoprtantly, HIS MOM AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO HOLD HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME. I think that is the toughest thing yet.
Tomorrow should be a very good day.
