Huntthomas, I spoke with my dealer earlier and asked about tire prices and packages. He said that the B's and L2800 tire prices are close, reason that on my B3030 the price stayed the same. However when you get into the 45 to 75 H.P. range, tire choice can be several hundred $ different. L 2800 industrial tires shouldn't be 1700 more than ag's.

I haven't look at the order form for a Kubota but have for other brands. They have the form set up so that you have to order separate pieces to have a complete tractor. It will list $x for a certain model tractor. The type of tranny will be $X. The tires will be $x. There will be one option in each section that will be listed as standard. The one listed as standard will usually be listed as 0 dollars. The other options can be checked but will carry additional cost. If no tires are checked, the tractor will be sent with the standard tires if the tractor is a factory assembled tractor. If the tractor is shipped in a crate, then the tractor will be shipped without tires, if no tires are ordered even if there happen to be a type and style listed as standard. If something is checked other than the standard, the price reflects the dollar amount in exchange for the standard part.
