file too big will try later
I have that problem with some of the higher resolutions pictures I take...
Here's the solution:
Go to <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.irfanview.com>http://www.irfanview.com</A> and download irfanview.exe (also, the plugins, if you want 'em).
Irfanview has a tool (IMAGE-RESIZE/RESAMPLE) that will reduce the resolution of the picture.
I do suggest you save any important picture as a different name before you modify it. That way, you've still got the original...you can delete the saved as version after you're done with it.
Also, remember, although a picture saved as a .bmp file will not be better quality if it was originally a .jpg. However, the same picture as a .bmp will be huge in size compared to a .jpg file.
As an example: most pictures I take with my digital camera (a Sony) are at 1200x768. However, this picture will be over the 200Kb limit TBN has for attachments (picture attachments, not tractor type). With Irfanview, I open a pic, resize to 640x480 and then attach.
