Main: Case 235
Police had been investigating the disappearance of motor-driven farm vehicles in my area for 6 months. They finally broke the case, when they discovered them to be a gang of detractors.

...when they discovered them to be a gang of detractors.

Are these related to the gangs of detrackers that take only the track and leave the helpless tor?

Reminds me of the group of palm readers that were robbing banks ........police had caught most of them.......... But there was a small group of mediums still at large...........

Last night our neighbor (1/4 mile from us) had his truck and all hand tools stolen. Items in barn less than 100 yards from his house. Neighbor was home, now that's brazen! Sheriff recovered the truck undamaged but tools and thieves are missing.

We had someone climb under the fence at work and Jimmy the lock on an older f250 we have without an alarm system. Rifled through the truck and stole a $500 trucker GPS unit and a $450 cordless impact kit. This happened last night.

Looks like they tried to pop the locks on the utility bed on my service truck as well, but the double locks foiled them. Only thing they had access to was the bed of the truck, which didn't have anything of value in it.

Been after the boss to get cameras on the gates and the parking lot for a while now.

It appears the volume of break-ins, stolen farm equipment and larceny has increased all over rural America. Earlier this month thieves stole a lot from our farm. This marks the 4th time. Sheriff deputy suggested we get and hide some wildlife cameras around. Thing is
trail-cameras use Infrared to illuminate at night. Thieves know this. They also know any digital camera including dumb phone cameras can see infrared light. The thieves simply walk around setting off the trail-cam infrared illuminators and steal them too. Better yet, thieves go out and get a Infrared monocular for around $100.00. It can see the trail-cam infrared flash extremely well. It's like a beacon leading them right to your trail-cam. At a $100.00+ a pop, thieves are stealing us blind!
