Thermostat

Anybody know off-hand where the thermostat is on a 2008 CK35? Also, how often should it be changed out? Thanks

The thermostat is on the engine-side of the top radiator hose, under the metal cover. See here.

You change it when it quits working: either overheating (with a working fan and clean radiator) or failure (or very slow) to reach operating temp (i.e. maybe never).
