Things I like about my tractor...

When I was shopping for a tractor, I looked at several brands. I looked at Kubota, New Holland, Long (Montana, now) and some others. My father in law taught me to always get quotes, don't assume anything. Well, I got a john Deere brochure, and I knew that I loved that setup. Just figured I couldn't afford it. So, when I got quotes, I sure was surprised they were the cheapest. (I probably would have paid more, but glad I didn't!)

The setup of the Deere just drew me in. I liked the ergonomics, and knew I could settle for something elsa. Now after 2 years I like it even more...

And, if you're really lucky, you'll get two good JD dealers relatively close to where you are who will try to out-bid each other. We're fortunate enough to be within about 40 miles of two excellent JD dealers; they try to out-bid each other and we win!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ergonomics, thats what made me favor the Deere the first time I sat on one. No complaints so far.

I just plain like my little B7100 kubota. Tough - stand up to abuse - excellent finish mowing machine. Easy to haul as it is light.

Didn't look at any others when purchasing. Only complaint is no power steering but all that means is the upper body mass increases.
