Exploring the woodlot, now that leaves are down and snakes are gone.

Found this rusted steel drum with a copper fitting.

Gee - I wonder what this could POSSIBLY be used for out in the middle of the Appalachian woods next to a water branch???

Found two trespassers once.

Neighbor found a Model-A Ford truck. Rusted out bottom bed, no engine. It's now out front as a lawn decor all cleaned up, not painted.

I once found a flag pole in the woods. Not sure how it got there or why. My guess is some cabin further up the trail might lost it on a cart. Can't drive up there, but a ATV or compact tractor.

I found an old wagon next to an old barn. Dragged it up to the house and parked it next to the road.

It's been there for years exposed to the elements, still in good shape.

The way things are going, it might not be a bad idea to get it back to usable condition!

Yeah, I have a bunch of implements that escaped the WWII scrap drives. The other area has two cultivators embedding in trees also. Hopefully, this year I'll get to sorting through it all (some?); saving the cool stuff and scrapping the junk.

By “Scrapping” you mean “listing on eBay and fleecing suckers” right?

I really do not believe it's a motorcycle, next time I'm there I'll see what size but as I flipped it over to photograph (it was buried in leaves) it was probably 4"-5" thick. Motorcycle tires are rounded and this was flat tread. A rear motorcycle would have a sprocket and brakes and front brakes...this didn't.

I believe it was a 32 ford Model T. Found it when I was walking in the back of the farm looking for a cow. My wife, who had grown up on the farm, did not know it was there.
