We each have found things that we learned should not be done with a PT. Things that damage it or were dangerous. Let's share these things.

My suggestion:

You should not push on things with the bare quick attach plate on the front of the machine. I bent mine. I still don't have it perfect, but it works find.

Do not attempt high speed, sharp turns, even on flat ground. I tried gentle turns at high speed and gradually worked my way up to tighter and tighter turns at high speed. There is a point that is too tight and I found it while mowing and tipped up on two wheels. I managed to grab the joystick out of float and the mower deck stopped me from going over.

I don't like to paint myself as a complete idiot... however, an incomplete idiot is perfectly acceptable.:)

You are just trying to get me to post that "High speed turns are no problem for me since I reversed my wheels!"!! Even though I haven't, in fact, had any stability problems while going fast or slow since reversing my wheels you won't see me posting that fact here on TBN just so you guys can pillory me once more!! So there!! (Picture tongue sticking out!!)

Why not?! It seems I'm comfortable doing it more and more  :D .

Seriously though, your vid-clips are extremely addictive. This year, things went well and I was able to get another toy. It was a close call between a backhoe attachment or a PT180. The backhoe won, but it was close. Next year could be different. I don't NEED a Power-Trac but, I really WANT one.

Combining high speed, sharp turns while driving across a slight slope is the setup for disaster. I have almost gone over twice... once, catching the rollcage on a small tree was the only thing that kept me upright.
