I have about 1800hrs on a DK90, which is the precursor to the px series.
It has been almost completely trouble free so far. At 30 hrs or so the water pump was replaced due to a tiny leak where the pump met the block. There is a fin type seal which had wrinkled a bit when installed at the factory. This was an unusual problem apparently and no trouble since. This was a Perkins thing, not a Kioti thing.
I replaced the tie rod ends with the updated ones due to reports of a few breaking. That was warranty also at about 500 hrs or so. Mine didn稚 break. That was preventative.
Mine has a tier3 Perkins which I like a lot. It is a torquey little motor, for sure.
添ours has a Doosan, so I don稚 know about that.
Otherwise they are very similar, with the 1153 probably overall being a better tractor due to refinement and a few more features. I especially would like the hi-lo button for haying, but my DK does fine without it. It would be finer with it.
I think the gear shift and loader control placement is better on the px.
The front wheel stance is wider, the seat is better, don稚 like the tier4 engine emissions crap (no choice nowadays), much more 3 point capacity.
I prefer the dual fuel tanks on my DK as they are farther off the ground and therefore better protected, although the single tank gives room on the other side for a toolbox (I use a feed bucket that fits perfectly inside the steps on the off side as part of my toolbox-greasegun, oiler can, spare grease, spare oil, rags, etc. The actual tools are in a decent Kluny leather bag in the cab. Somewhat inconvenient, but not too bad.
13The new px痴 have considerably more hydraulic flow than the DK痴.
Overall, I made a good buy. This little Kioti replaced a fwa Deutz 7110, which was also a good tractor.
I would say that Kioti addressed all of the minor shortcomings of the DK in the production of the Doosan Px痴 to make a fine haying/chore tractor.
The only thing I don稚 like is the tier4 BS.
I would buy another Kioti.
