Third Function hydraulic Accessory

I am looking at a 4720 with a 400X loader that I would install the John Deere Third function hydraulic accessory that provides hydraulic couplers to the front of the loader to operate the grapple attachment. Deere lists it as BW15260.

Does anyone have this installed on their loader? If so, could you post a picture or two of the hydraulic lines that are routed from the couplers in the back of the tractor up to the front of the loader. Thanks

I mounted basically the same system on my 3520. I did make a slight change that I think gives me more flexibility. You can see where I added a bracket at the back and jumper hoses to the front kit. In this way I can use the rear QA for other uses and it is not deadicated to the grapple.

AL, thanks for the pictures. Any chance you could get a picture of the way the hydraulic lines are rounted from your back outlets under the cab and up along the side of the tractor up to the front of the loader?

The lines are routed from the rear to another bracket in the kit that goes next to the factory loader connects. Then you get hoses and hard lines to mount on your loader arms. JC

As RollTideRam said the hoses were routed to the front bracket. Sorry I can't say exactly how the routing runs as I did not install the 3rd function kit. It was done at the dealers. I am currently on the road and will not be back until the end of next week but I will try to get some photos then.

What I did was purchase another bracket used in the diverter kit and mounted it on the other side. The hoses were removed from the factory 3rd function bracket and remounted to the new one. It entails a little drilling but I like the veristility of this setup.
